About Me
My name is Joanne Craythorne
Hello and welcome—I’m Joanne, a wedding celebrant with a wholehearted love for love, in all the beautiful ways it shows up.
For seven years, I served as a wedding verger in a church, quietly supporting couples as they stepped into one of life’s most meaningful moments.
After COVID reshaped the rhythm of life and a relocation opened new doors, I found myself missing those heart-filled ceremonies. That longing led me to retrain as a celebrant—and I’ve never looked back.
Now, I have the joy of helping couples craft ceremonies that reflect their unique story, values and connection. Whether your vision is traditional, modern, spiritual or wildly original; I’m here to honour it with warmth, creativity and care.
I was widowed in my 30's and that experience deepened my understanding of love’s strength, resilience and tenderness. I bring that lived wisdom to every ceremony I lead. I’m also a proud mum to three grown children and a devoted grandmother—surrounded by laughter, affection and the kind of love that inspires everything I do.
Every ceremony I create is a celebration of love’s magic—of two hearts choosing each other again and again. It’s a privilege to walk beside couples as they begin this new chapter and I pour my heart into making each moment meaningful, unforgettable and truly yours.
